The Rush

An acrostic

The Rush

Down, down, down I go

Into the abyss of the algorithm.

So many days have been lost here,

Too many hours gone.

Regret consumes my aging bones

As I long to regain the past.

Clowns and chaos and choreography

Tread the surface of my tired eyes.

Instead of sleep or connection,

Open to only the instant rush,

Nothing soothes like the Scroll.
