The Royal Gardens

Smooth stones, seeds, and leaves

By Shelby Hagood Published 8 months ago 1 min read

The smooth stone path guides me

A stone castle at the royal garden’s end

I admire the fragrant, blooming trees

Under the castle thrives the dragon trees

I rub my finger over the slick leaves

The smooth stone path guides me

Dragon Tree

The castle’s right is princess pink as sweet pea

The left is the prince orange like fresh fruit

I admire the fragrant, blooming trees

The philodendron pink princess plants to see

Were right next to the orange prince version

The stone path guides me

The princess side stands for listening and diplomacy

The prince side for reliance and strength

I admire the fragrant, blooming trees

Philodendron Pink Princess

Philodendron Orange Prince

The honeysuckles are sweet as the gardeners roll seeds

I taste the honey nectar while lost in my thoughts

The stone path guides me

I admire the fragrant, blooming trees
