Look inside

Make time to reflect

From the world you should not hide

Learn not my children to worship the stream

For falsities will forsake thee

The things of today were not the dream

You make the world more weary

Weary of the simple mindedness of it all

As people suck at the teet of falsehood

Never to know they're societies great fall

Not that they'd change course, not that they would

Failing to engage

They stand at the ready to war

Succumbing to false and manufactured reasons to rage

Never looking behind that second door

Look not to the nets that entagle you in deceit

For they are not the way

Remember of the times when humans would meet

And talk to real live people throughout the day

Get not informed by the handheld screens

Ignore the miscellanious disasters of the day

Put the evil spreader back in your jeans

Listen closely to the things that people say

For the feelings of real matter more than ever

But learn them the way you do things now, you will not

Be at the ready to recognize that hunanity can't be forever

And take heed of all the world's unyielding and spreading rot
