Why does everybody stare?

What’s behind their intriguing glare?

Why, suddenly, does everything seem so strange?

Have I lost my mind? This is completely insane!

Is this just me? Is this real? Or am I still fast asleep?

Your eyes are open, there’s no way back, you are in pretty deep.

Calm down, this is life, it’s like a rollercoaster they say.

Keep strong, smile, head high, don’t throw it all away.

Come down, find your feet, keep them safely on the ground.

You’ll find yourself somewhere, I’m sure, you will be found.

Regroup, recoup and build a brand new model.

This is a life learning curve, one day, this will all seem a doddle.
