The Road of Life

An Original Poem

By Ashley PaskillPublished 9 years ago 1 min read

The sun shines through the rain

As my smile does through the pain

Of missing my co-pilot.

The road of life cut short,

A ship sinking at the port,

Gone in a flash.

My life must go on.

I see a new day’s dawn.

I face the road ahead.
