The wrath of winter fades away
on Zephyr's drowsy, warmed sigh
that bids the trees to creak and sway
and let their blossoms free to fly
across the Earth, across the sky
Through lands of men and realms of Fae
From Land's End to the Isle of Skye
Spring paints its hues upon the day
from Equinox to Calan Mai
the Sun kisses Earth's barren breast,
upon her sheds his warming rays
'til her dark spell demands his rest
And fading down into the west.
his heat lingers o'er her flesh
and melts the mountain's snowy crest
Winter's deathly curse enmeshed.
