what a splendid sunset
i get to see tonight
she wears the clouds like
a shawl of many textures
the clouds changing
as she moves closer
to the horizon
every cloud unique
often set apart
visibly different
and i know what it's like
to be different
but for now i'm thankful
to get to see such
a splendid sunset
