The raise I never wanted

To the younger me

Foggy memory took place in a foggy mirror.

Late-night whispering from my sleep to reality.

Fingers are cold, wiped foggy mirror, unrecognized pale souls embarked on a silent night.

Silent night, to the lonely hallway; The raise I never wanted depends on my strength, to hope you hear me or feel my soul calling you.

The finish line wasn't the challenge; the silent night was my only hope to travel in the sound of the ones sleeping with no memory.

Scratches of help felt in every powerless attempt.

Sounds trapped in my voice, whispered into nothing left, but a lonely night found by a lone soul at the end of the finish line.

I realized how vulnerable a soul is left behind by a lonely lying night.

Can anyone hear me, the inner me whispers.

Was it the sound I never heard or the silence that kept me captive?

We tell people to be strong, but we don't let them feel.
