The Queen Of Fire
I Rose Through Your Pain And Misery
I let you burn me down to the ground,
With your foul mouth and bruises,
It was more than I could stand,
I let your mean spirit wound me,
tare me into pieces of paper,
Then burn my entire person into ashes.
I believed everything you said about me for
too long,
You taught me that I was only worthy of love,
If I let you abuse me,
You bruised me every time I tried not to let you
condition me;
I got back up,
You pulled me down,
I spoke my truth,
You forced a gag over my mouth,
refusing to let me speak;
You told everyone I was abusing you,
Only so you could gain sympathy,
And,
So you could cover up the things that you were
doing to me,
You took every friend away from me,
Destroyed my family,
My heart,
My soul,
My personality,
I fell for it every single time;
You said my friends and family were no good for me,
Told me that they were trying to change me,
Make me toxic,
You even told me that your friends were a danger to me,
But;
I worked you out,
You were trying to keep them away from me,
Isolate me,
Because you knew they knew what you were doing,
I am the Queen of Fire;
I rose through your pain and misery,
You had no right to inflict that on to me,
And I am free from your torment,
And I will continue to rise through the pain,
Allowing my flames to grow tall,
Burn forever,
Because you create your own pain,
And I don't want to ever share your grave.
