the documented

offensive camera obscura verdad

do not say angel

nor watcher

watch her

what sure

root remembrance

beauty as a force of nature

by navajo reckoning

another important obscurity

forgiveness yet one more hiding

in the imaginary darkness

chains a melting

silently golden, the forgiven

for the torch of Liberty's Lady

tightly shining

time's changing

skylines waving

coastlines easing

unceasing blue endless

whale songs verbatim

yet the blue stripes on the white boat

yet the rain on brick

the yellow windows

yet the moss from the trees

the stink of the swampland

the dreams of the moor

the hangman's rope

the black trees leafless stunt

high on roadside blowing

a gale grey sky

and running the muddy wheel track

I was lighter and darker then
