was it was a nail in the coffin

or pattern interruption

on repeat and back maskin'

full on media eruption

living life in the spotlight

lost in the font of disruption

out of step on abbey road

looks deceiving deception

some say paul some say billy

debates up for suggestion

cause the powers that be

control the power of perception

a chipped tooth and a moped

and a little over production

rumors that paul was dead

and billy's magnetic induction

was it true or make believe

that drove that vein of seduction

a white lie meant to deceive

all these years still up for discussion

i suppose we may never know

if it was all an illusion

i still bought the album though

regardless of its conclusion
