Long, long ago,
We believed in the power of poetry,
It was a silent power,
Unseen, unheard,
Yet a force that could propel you forward.
With the power of poetry, we reached distant lands.
Many years later,
We still believe in the power of poetry,
It's a power to see through everything,
Yet still innocent and pure.
Eventually,
We came to realize
Silence allows us to contemplate life calmly,
And innocence keeps us worldly-wise without losing innocence.
