The aroma of rice and dal,
Fills the air with its sweet smell,
Pongal, the harvest festival,

The cows are decorated,
With flowers and bells,
A tribute to their role in the harvest,
A sign of gratitude and respect.
The streets are filled,
With laughter and music,
A celebration of the community,
A bond of love and unity.
Pongal, a festival of thanks,
For the blessings of the land,
A time to come together,
And celebrate the beauty of life.

And offer a toast,
