This is you.

I am the quiet version of myself
the one who sits with old memories
like they’re guests who never learned
when to leave.

I am the person who rewrites conversations
hours after they end,
fixing sentences that never broke,
repairing moments no one else remembers.

I am the one who cries at midnight
over things I swore I forgot,
holding grief like a fragile heirloom
passed down through years of silence.

I am the person who forgives too quickly
and forgets too slowly,
who carries apologies in my pockets
for people who never asked for them.

I am the one who loves in secret
because loving out loud
has always felt like standing barefoot
on broken glass.

I am the person who keeps going
even when I don’t know why,
who wakes up every morning
with hope stitched into the seams
of my exhaustion.

I am the one who survived things
I never talk about,
who learned to smile with my whole face
so no one sees the tremble in my hands.

I am the person who is still here
despite everything that tried
to convince me otherwise.

And maybe you are too—
a quiet survivor
a soft warrior
a gentle storm
learning to believe
that existing is enough
even on the days
you feel like a ghost
in your own life.

If so,
I hope you stay.
I hope you rest.
I hope you remember
that the world is better
because you didn’t give up
on yourself.

Not today.
Not tomorrow.
Not ever.
