They are unaware of how they feed his stash

Through their hard work—blood, sweat, and tears

It is their daily tribute

That keeps his treasure swelling

As he hoards away all that they’ve earned

And use their rulers and knights

To keep them in line

Rise! Rise!

Rise, peasants!

Rise above the Dragon’s might!

Take back what is rightfully yours

Use it to build the utopia

That you can feel is just out of reach

Use it for your health, your wellbeing, your life

And let the Dragon find his own way to thrive

Not off the backs of others

But on his own four feet

***

Rise! Rise!

Rise, peasants!

Take up arms against your knights and kings!

They are but the Dragon’s puppets

Push them aside and you will see

Their coffers have been filled

With your spoils as well

***

Rise! Rise!

Rise, peasants!

It is time to reclaim your lives

To reclaim that for which you toil

To use it for the betterment of your society

To fly out of the grips of poverty

On the wings of the Dragon

***

Feel that, Dragon?

That chill down your spine?

It is the winds of change—

The Peasants’ Revolution is near
