The Peace of Quiet

Vocal Challenge: Eclipse

Everything slowly seeping away. Darkness

Creeps in and covers my vision, a

Lasting embrace, momentary silence. Joy

In feeling a sudden

Peace,

So careful and quiet, but the

Eclipse of it ends, and I am brought to life again.

Tender and delicate, your words feel as gentle as one might hope an undertaker's touch would be. A final caring caress from one who sees beyond the ghosts trapped in blank stares. Lovely work!

I love the way that you take the idea of the eclipse passing like a moment in someone's life of peace and calm, only for that to shortly go away. I often think that eclipses are cold but this one made me feel warm and still, not badly so but just halted.
