Life can be a roller coaster of a ride
The ups and downs pulling us
It's full of lessons along the way
One big thing to remember is the past
The past doesn't define who we are
No it helps us to grow
To show that sure we screwed up
Yet that’s what life is about
Making mistakes
Mistakes that we can learn from
Knowing that we aren't perfect
That life wants us to learn
Be able to figure out who we are
To make the past count
Being able to take hold of the future
Making the future yours
