An Artist's Palette

An Artist’s Palette

Fast and fiery, red paints itself. Bright and sure, domineering its canvas.

Blue is pretty but it stains, it’s flow is full like the ocean's waves. It run's and pours, like crying over boys.

Yellow is gentle, soft as can be. It reminds me to leave the light on, it's helping others see.

Orange you glad to have added some red to make me? A beautiful collaboration, fertile and spunky.

Give me green to freshen up, like Mother Nature would bring. The blades of grass and crowns on trees.

And just as blush of a baby’ lips, there’s pink for a tickle or kiss. Sweet and sweet is all I think.

And in obsolete we find black, and in whole white.

Should we discuss the in between? The elephant in the room... gray. I will never forget your value(s).

Just like I never forget my cup of coffee – the color brown is actually fancy.

Color me, color me – my canvas calls. Craving the energy the colors draw.
