The painting that nobody liked

Everybody kept walking past 

Nobody stopped to look 

Not even a glance 

Seemed like it had no chance 

Maybe somebody would eventually take the time to view and appreciate the work 

It was amazing that it even made it here

Installed where everyone could see

But everyone just wanted to flee

Surprising since there wasn't even a fee

To look it was free

Maybe some special person would take possession or at least stop and enjoy a moment of glee

After all we should be able to enjoy variety at the art gallery 

Seems like in this case it was a mistake 

Maybe they shouldn't have put this painting in that place 

Possibly find some other space 

We waited to see if anyone would notice this piece right here 

It seemed like it was clear 

Nobody wanted to go near 

They didn't care about the painting that nobody liked
