The Other woman

SHE ISN'T HER

By Amy BaxlaPublished 3 years ago • 1 min read

Love isn't enough for you and I, she said.

How could I ever know you when everything lies in disguise?

How could I ever forget what I saw in those alluring eyes?

You left with no goodbye in the night, you said it wasn't about you and I.

Could you ever perceive me the way you hold me in the night?

She said I'd gladly break my heart for you, even in times of trouble would you still hold me tight?

Will I ever know when to let you go?

Where do we go now? I'll follow you.

I want to know what lies ahead, ahead of us.

She knew she couldn't have him more than her , said I'd gladly break my heart for you. He said I didn't ask you to stay.

It wasn't love she got, I'm not good enough for that she thought

It left her feeling so worthless but she needed to feel yearned- for so she gave into his request.

Keep me where you hide your second sight, deep inside where our secret starts.

How could I ever know you when everything lies in disguise?
