The Old Vulture's Tears

The cycle of life and death.

The Old Vulture’s Tears

Circling.

Impending.

Watching.

Its old eyes

can see through memory.

Pitch black.

Ingesting.

Flashback.

It takes in

the birth,

the hope,

the solitude,

the kindness,

the darkness,

the persistence,

and the love.

A transparency

refracts light.

A transformation

is born.

A green egg

sent by Osiris.

A last glance

With old black eyes.

About the Creator

Cen.

The writing started when I was a child living near the woods in California.

Now, as a grown-up living in a busy and crowded Asian city, I find flow and peace when I am genuinely writing.

I hope that is what you feel when you read my writings.
