THE OLD MAN

An old man told me son sit down by my side

They'll be times in your life when you want to run and hide

There is gonna be laughter, sorrow joy and pain

But you'll always have some one to walk you through the rain

Son take it slow don't try to live life to fast

Look to the future and never live in the past

Troubles are many heartaches seem to never end

But look to the Heavens and your heart will always mend

You will find love and always try to do your best

So many people will try to put you through the test

Just be who you are and you'll always be satisfied

Remember the laughter and not how many tears you've cried

As you get older son you will start to understand

And if your worried God will lend you his hand
