The Noise out there

Peace

The Noise Out There

The world is spinning—

fast,

wild,

out of control.

Fear wraps around my chest

like a vice.

What is real?

What is illusion?

Lies drip like poison

from polished screens.

Truth twisted,

distorted—

a funhouse mirror

I can’t escape.

Is this war?

Is this peace?

Are we awake?

Or have we all

been programmed

to sleep?

I wake in the night,

gasping.

Eyes wide.

Heart thudding

like war drums in the dark.

I don’t want to go outside.

I don’t want to see their eyes.

Too many masks.

Too many roles.

Too much noise.

Too many damn lies.

So today—

I choose silence.

I choose solitude.

I choose me.

Let the world burn

It's headlines and hysteria.

Let the chaos howl

at someone else’s door.

Not mine.

Not today.

Today, I stay in my fortress,

in my temple,

in my truth.

And I will breathe—

slow,

intentional,

free.

Today,

I reclaim my peace.
