She stands tall,

Against it all,

Until the night,

You came calling,

Only one time,

Such naive thinking,

With each use she became fierce,

Her addiction taking hold,

It was all an illusion,

Created by the addiction,

She see's this now,

The thing she enjoyed,

Turned her seemingly stable life,

From smiles and laughter,

To hurtful words and tears,

Chaos followed suite,

Leaving a destroyed path behind,

Do you know she had it all,

Family, stability, protection and friends,

In four short months,

Her kingdom was gone,

You took away her life,

With tightened hands,

Now her freedom is within your reach,

She's not going to go down,

Not without a fight,

She's found support,

She's found helpful options,

Now within a week,

She'll ask to be placed,

Until she's strong enough,

To stand up straight and tall,

Causing her addiction to flee.
