In the depths of sorrow's night, I dwell,

My heart a shattered, empty shell.

A love once bloomed, now turned to dust,

Leaving me broken, broken, I must adjust.

Each beat, a pang of pain so raw,

A love so lost, forever in withdraw.

In darkness now, my soul does roam,

Yearning for love, a place called home.

Oh, the anger swirls within my chest,

A fire ignited, I can't arrest.

I long to punch the walls and scream,

To shatter the echoes of my shattered dream.

The memories haunt, they won't let go,

Like relentless waves that ebb and flow.

A phantom touch upon my skin,

I close my eyes, the tears begin.

I feel the urge to hit and break,

To let out the hurt, my soul's earthquake.

But deep inside, I know I must,

Find peace within this broken trust.

In time, the pain will slowly mend,

And this heartache, I will transcend.

But for now, I'll let these feelings flow,

And find the strength to let them go.

So punch I won't, but feel I must,

To heal this heart, to break the crust.

And as I walk through this darkened night,

I'll find the dawn, a glimmer of light.
