The Narrow Between

Walking the lines we never drew.

By Ms Jade Published 5 months ago • 1 min read

hold my hand as I walk through narrow spaces, afraid to step on white lines— though curiosity begs me past them. thoughts clamor for clarity from the drawer, where answers are kept and given. it asks their purpose: were the lines needed, necessary— or placed to keep actions honest? guides or restrictions, they remain boundaries— perhaps to keep more than actions intact. their purpose unclear, though the drawer offers what it will, in signs— one at a time.

Ms Jade

Ms Jade writes by listening inward — where stories wait beneath the surface.

Some things you’re told to follow. Some things you have to feel out for yourself. I write in between— learning as I go.
