The Narcissist & The Empath

both of them grew up in the same household

with a mother who didn’t want children

and a father who worked long hours

they both got everything they wanted as children

but they didn’t get the love from their mother

or the emotional support from their father

one turned into a narcissist

and the other into a empath

the empath didn’t blame the narcissist for how he turned up

cause she knew it was from childhood trauma

that they both endorsed

it’s crazy how two people who went through the same trauma

turned out as two different people

two people who were once closer than ever

are now complete strangers
