The Mystical Kingdom of Xy

The Birth of Xy

I call to all to come and hear,

the story of the birth of Xy.

A Mystic Kingdom I hold dear,

a stronghold in the mountains high.

Xy was carved out by Dwarfish hands,

into the virtuous Heart Stone.

Here Crystal Mountains boldly stand,

and rare Secrets dare to be known.

An Evil came on one dark day.

From their home, the dwarves were driven.

Most were forced to flee far away.

They feared that their souls would be eaten.

With too few left on which to feed,

It was a new food this Evil sought.

It found that power could be freed,

from pure maidens the Beast caught.

Lady Kim was a rare vision.

From far and wide men sought her hand.

The Beast planned with great precision,

a way to take a prize so grand.

She was a maiden pure and fair.

Such beauty had never been known.

Long strawberry blond curls of hair,

that the Beast wanted for its own.

Her face melted the hearts of men.

Her skin was sweet and creamy white.

Her form was simple perfection;

a dream in the still of the night.

A handsome Knight in the Land dwelled,

known well for deeds both brave and bold!

For Sir Mark had challenged and felled,

many creatures both dark and cold!

Lady Kim’s hand Sir Mark had won,

a perfect match was made that day.

Before they could be joined as One,

the Beast stole Sir Mark’s Love away.

Enraged Sir Mark hunted the Beast,

he tracked it to the Fortress high.

Once there he swore its life would cease,

for its vile actions, it would die!

In the walls of Crystal and Stone,

he Beast prepared the Lady Kim.

Using spells from an ancient tome,

to a great disk, it bound her limbs.

Cruelly the foul Beast taunted her,

so that it could release her Hate.

When the peak of her Rage occurred,

the Lady Kim learned her dark fate.

With a queer motion of its hand,

the Beast spoke an ancient incarnation.

It froze within a Crystal grand,

Kim and her Raging Emotion.

The Beast took its excellent prize,

deep beneath the central tower.

It placed the Lady Kim inside,

the strange Crystal Vault of Power.

The Crystal Vault of Power was,

a corruption of the Heart Stone.

The Rage the Beast had caused,

was focused on the Beast alone.

Within the Vault arranged just so,

were five score of Crystal Maidens.

They were placed so power would flow,

into Kim’s new crystal prison.

The Lady Kim became aware,

of her dire situation,

When she felt the raw Power flare,

from the Beast’s corrupt creation.

The Lady Kim felt in the room,

a Crystal Maiden left unused.

The extra Maiden met her Doom,

when she and the crystal unfused.

After a long one hundred years,

her essence had been depleted.

Before she could shed one tear,

the vile deed had been completed.

To dust, her body slowly turned,

to the Crystal Maidens dazed dread.

Within each, a deep hatred burned,

on this Dark Passion, the Beast fed.

Now the hate beget by the Beast,

beget a hate all of its own.

And the Fortress would never cease,

to usurp the Beast from its Throne!

Sir Mark donned his Enchanted Mail,

A sheath of steel on a stout frame.

When held high Sir Mark’s Sword would wail,

“Be afraid for I’m Evils Bane!”

Though an open portcullis burst,

one dozen Orcs fat and grunting.

Sir Mark hacked the wave that came first;

the rest turned and started running.

Fast before the portcullis fell,

Sir Mark sprang into the stronghold.

Inside he heard a vile war yell,

and met an Orc immense and bold.

With the first clash of cold steel swords,

the Evil’s Bane began to sing,

“Prepare to meet your puny Lords,

for we are ‘The Curse of Evil Things.’”

With a loud yell, Sir Mark brought down,

the Evil’s Bane in one mighty chop.

The Orc’s sword burst and hit the ground;

the Orc died in one solid lop.

The rest of the Orcs watched in dread,

for their Hero’s death was stunning.

Fearing that they would be next dead,

they turned and commenced a running.

As Sir Mark walked in hallways dark,

crystals within the walls would glow.

For he possessed a Noble Heart,

and the Fortress responded so.

For it was Love the Fortress felt,

between Lady Kim and Sir Mark.

Yet, it was still too sick to melt,

the grip on its own Crystal Heart.

Sir Mark burst in the Crystal Vault;

at the ready, he held his Sword.

This evil cycle he would halt,

a battle in an endless War.

The Evil’s Bane flashed with a light,

that was bright and pure as the Sun.

This left the Beast without its sight,

and an Evil Hex back it flung.

When this Hex hit the Evil’s Bane,

the Sword repulsed the corrupt Spell.

This force Sir Mark could not contain,

and from his grasp, the blade fell.

Hearing the clatter of cold steel,

on the unyielding crystal floor,

The Beast knew this sword it must steal,

or the foul Beast would live no more.

It threw a spell that snatched the blade,

and held it high from Sir Mark’s hand.

Within a crystal the Beast made,

it fused the Sword to the Vault grand.

The Evil’s Bane was out of play;

to the Chamber’s top, it was bound.

The blind Beast saw not the Light Ray;

nor the glowing walls all around.

Sir Mark was suspended in the air,

when the Beast’s hand made a motion.

It thrashed Sir Mark without a care,

and threw him down bruised and broken.

The Lady Kim could feel Sir Mark,

as he lay battered in the room.

With all the love in her pure Heart,

they melded as he faced his doom.

The still blind Beast saw not the light,

that in the chamber glowed intense.

The Beast thought it had won the fight,

and was going to end this grievance.

And from the Lady Kim’s Deep Love,

a new Essence was born that day.

A ray of white light from above,

shown on Sir Mark in an odd way.

Around Sir Mark colors shimmered,

and it was a new shape that was formed.

While the mad Beast seethed and simmered,

a strange spectacle was performed.

Sir Mark became a Dragon White,

yet, the blind Beast had not a clue.

Now would come the end of this fight,

and the Beast would pay what was due!

With a spell, the blind Beast reached out,

to grab Sir Mark by his frail throat.

The dragon's neck left little doubt,

that it would not be simply broke.

The Beast was slashed with one great Claw,

dark blood gushed from gaping wounds.

The Beast was stunned and filled with awe,

for ‘twas now time to meet its’ doom.

It pleaded for its’ vulgar life,

like so many had done before it.

The Dragon belched forth with great might,

the Cleansing Pyre that was lit.

The vile Beast’s skin flashed in the flame.

Its form stood for a time as ash.

Within the hot blaze, the end came,

when there was, nothing left at last.

Brilliant colors swirled all around,

the room was filled with a strange sight.

The fair Lady Kim was unbound,

and four score maidens formed in the light.

The final score if freed would die,

they stayed within the Crystal Heart.

This noble White Dragon of Xy,

changed back to the brave Sir Mark.

Lady Kim and Sir Mark embraced,

their lips met in a burning kiss.

The Fortress changed from Evil’s Place,

to one of Happiness and Bliss.

A Beast that spread Woe and Hatred,

to the World with the Sun above,

Could not have anticipated,

a Victory by Goodness and Love.

Sir Mark became a Noble King,

his true Love he always stood by.

The Lady Kim became the Queen,

together they rule over Xy.

Deep within the new Crystal Heart,

the Last Score of Crystal Maidens,

made the Evil’s Bane into a part,

of a mighty mystic haven.

Occasionally in the Blue Sky,

a pair of Dragons can be seen.

It is the King and Queen of Xy,

ridding the Land of Evil things!
