The mystery of the image to behold.

A shadow in the nightfall as the winter would slowly pass,

The snow that fell within the realm as town would gather in mass,

A flicker, a shake, a song of another class,

There to turn, hearts to yearn, no longer to spin and dither,

Flakes to fall upon Christmas eve, slowly as a group of white slivers,

It was late upon the month of December as one would then believe,

Early was the time, the night of Christmas eve,

Singing in the background with songs of triumphant joy,

The sight of a manger, the birth of a royal boy,

“Rejoice oh heavens in the night, rise up the morning,

Hearts and spirits for love and joy, all of us adoring,

For to us a child is born his kingdom shall not decrease,

Mighty around the hemisphere, the sovereign Prince of peace!”

Eyes that lit upon the sight regardless of cruel weather,

Lamps then fueled with oil, the heart of every believer,

For none could then forget the image oh so clear,

The vision and the setting of what the heart holds dear,

It was a night to surely then remember,

The scale of the grandest scope,

The mystery on the most dear night of December,

All across the entire globe…
