When Gods decide to play

The Gods are feeling frisky,

They have lots of games to play

They all formed a band

Just the other day.

☀️☀️☀️☀️

It started as a sunny day

Not a breath of wind in sight

But you could see it coming

As the Gods got ready to play tonight.

🪈🪈🪈🪈

Zeus, the God of thunder

Was the first to play

Thunder claps like qa big bass drum

To set the others on their way

⛈️⛈️⛈️⛈️

Apollo, the God of the sun

Had been busy shining all day

He picked up his electric guitar

It was his turn to join in and play.

🌞🌞🌞🌞

Mars, the God of war

Was in a grumpy mood

He sat down cello in hand

And started with a haunting interlude.

🧔‍♂️🧔‍♂️🧔‍♂️🧔‍♂️

Aeolus, keeper of the winds

Blew the air out of his lungs

In and out, he set the tone

Sounding like a set of drums.

💨💨💨💨

Poseidon, God of the sea and water

He was the last to join in

The waves sang a sweet melody

Like the gentle tone of a violin.

🌊🌊🌊🌊

For hours on end

The five they played

Trying to outdo each other

In their musical masquerade.

🎶🎶🎶🎶

One by one, they got sick of it

And all five took a rest

Wins and sea, returned to calm

And once again the sun shone at its best.

☀️☀️☀️☀️

Till next time,

Calvin
