The Mountains are Calling

In this world

There are  things 

that you wish you could change

But this rock 

Takes no heed

Of what you want or think you need

The flowers bloom

the earth decays

The flower blooms

And I lose - I lose days

~ I swallow fire

I devour pain 

And I’ll do all 

Just to see you again~

In this life

The most breathtaking things

Require a steep price

The clouds here

Like sky’s breath

Move with a vindictive sleight of hand
