The Moon's Tears

As he rises, we flee inside...

By Page EvansPublished 9 years ago • 1 min read

As he rises we flee inside

as he leaves we come outside

no friends can he find

he’s still too kind

sad and alone

he wants to cry

but he’s got to keep it on the inside

faces and faces that’s all he sees

but no one thinks to see what he sees

a beautiful world is in his eyes

but the people on it makes him cry

no recognition for him

a tainted love never slims

when he leaves he’s in the dark

no friends to show him the light

so all alone he stays

the moon's tears strike again
