This place has trees

and leaves.

So what is different?

Could it be the breeze?

Or how colors

Because roads and sidewalks

and neighbors are deep in talks

of scares being discovered.

Nightfall comes earlier here.

The morning takes a little longer

to waken and clear.

But not the sounds.

Even with pitch darkness,

there is rustling

from animals and plants alike.
