No words were spoken
Everything faded into an inaudible background
That very moment nothing else mattered
Our eyes had locked, holding us in a spellbinding trance
I don't know how long we stayed that way
A minute? Two?
I broke the connection, our little bubble gone
Yet a familiar, foreign feeling started to take place, starting at my heart and expanding
Dread and fear enveloped me, but melted away as soon as my eyes sought his again
After that moment I knew I wouldn't be the same again.

Music Prompt? Music Thingy!
At work a few weeks ago, I was using that Spotify DJ thing, the AI tool that slightly bugs me on principle, but not enough for me to boycott it. (You know the one?) Anyway, I was jamming out to songs I was familiar with, a few new ones, and then all of a sudden, I was stopped in my tracks.
