The Mirror’s Reflection
Once as it shows I too was young and beautiful

The Mirror’s Reflection
In the mirror, my face worn and aged,
Lines that whisper of years gone by,
Once vibrant eyes, now dulled and hazy,
A youthful beauty, lost to wrinkles of time.
Memories flicker like shadows in the glass,
A life once full of laughter and light,
Now a reflection of moments passed,
A gentle reminder of the speed of time.
Time etches lines, each one a tale,
Of dreams once bright, now quietly faded,
Yet in the heart, a spark remains,
A resilience that time has not diminished.
The mirror reflects not just what’s lost,
But the strength that endures through the years,
A legacy of love and life,
Echoing softly in each wrinkle.
And as the years gently fade away,
The mirror holds more than just the past,
It keeps the essence of a life well-lived,
A timeless beauty that never truly fades.
In the mirror, a face worn and old,
look how beautiful I was in the picture I hold,
Those days have gone, forever lost in time,
Now the mirror lets me see who I am as I shine.
