The Miracle
A Brazen Contradiction of the Depression of Experience by Finding God's Holy Illuminating Joy
A single ray of sunlight greeted him that day
Blazing with the color of the finest golden hay
Coming through his window, saying it’s always been the same
*
Dripping down the glass now, one last drop of rain
Events of all his yesterdays echo through his brain
Fogging up his vision like a thickened oil stain
*
Gone are the days of yore
How could life not mean something more?
Inundated by pain
Joy a distant train that
Kicked him off at the last gate
*
Lovers of the past - passed or gone away
Memories of times better than okay
Nothing more to offer, nothing left to say
*
Out of all his pity a
Path he couldn’t find
Queer are the behaviors peculiar to our mind
Remembrance of time
Slipping down the line
*
Then something happened- a miracle of faith
Unconscious efforts showing a new way
Voices saying all would be ok. It’s always been okay.
With the Holy Spirit, you’ll see you’ve always been
Xanadu is yours - Just see the Love within
You only need to release the light at your core, and your
Zest for life will fully be restored
