They stand in silence, monuments of time,

Their foundations are rooted deep and strong.

A testament to those who stood in line,

And fought with courage all day long.

*

Their names are etched in stone, a spell,

A symbol of the lives they lived.

Their spirits rest within as well,

Their memories are forever woven.

*

Each one a hero, brave and bold,

Their legacy forever shines.

A light that breaks through the dark and cold,

A symbol of what it truly means to be kind.

*

For those who stand in mind, we stand,

In honor of the lives they gave.

And we hold their memories in hand,

Their legacies are forever etched in our souls.

*

So let us never forget the past,

The lessons learned and battles won.

And let us carry forward, steadfast,

The memories of those who stand in mind, until the dawn.
