The Melanin man

The Melanin man

By Sheng LongPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

When you are young, gifted, & black, the road to your pathway is always cracked. A melanin man blossoming as he forces his color through the con gray & cold crete. Shedding so many tears, no condensation from the blue above only streams of pain from the leaves that suffer to stretch free. To die on land that was stolen. A white shadow wields an axe of hatred clipping the butterfly of his wings. While the melanin man holds his heart toward the blue above longing for love. While chained to the pale shackles of concrete surrounded by empty streets.

Tupac, Tyson, & Ali, were all clipped their wings in their premiere because of land that Claims to be free!
