Last night the moon filled my senses

as I sat on the step and I told the stars

my problems under his bright gaze

they were dimmed by his brimming

lantern of borrowed sunlight

but I knew they were still all there

faithful

listening

constant

written

on the heavens on the fourth day

of the Beginning

He created them to speak

in different ways

their travels, He plotted in the

beginning of Time itself

He wrote poems in the sky for us

and gave to some knowledge, wisdom

to follow the "star" to Bethlehem

as witnesses to what God had done

that we could never do for ourselves

and He wrote it in the stars as His ink

on the fourth page of His journal

love notes sparkling across the heavens

waiting for us to notice

that BC and AD was given to us

how we measure time is how

He measured His love for us

i look at the stars differently now

knowing that they were created

just for us that we would stargaze

not just for fun, but to

ⱧɆ₳Ɽ Him

SPEAK.
