The masses lost their respective minds when they followed the leader

They lost their minds to think that they were able to do these weird things

There was no regard for their safety by that vile group of mouth breathers

Each of them would sell them off as just stupid ding dings

The masses lost their way when they began to shut down their brains

Thinking they were eight-foot tall and bulletproof

Standing and chanting through the heat, cold, and the rains

Acting like their parents raised them to be such a goof

The masses lost their vision of the truth through militant messages they heard

Choosing their hatred for one as a reason to stop using their minds

They forgot to pay heed to the definition of many a word

And sold themselves into submission, and many legal binds

The masses can't be reasoned with like they once could

They choose to follow half-truths and ignore the real facts of life

Men and women alike risk prison, like it's something they should

Ignoring the risk of becoming someone's prison wife

They pray for anarchy, and they are filled with rage

But none of them can form an articulate thought of why

As if all they want is to be center stage

They'll urge you to get stupid, then wonder why you had to die

They believe that they are the Incredible Hulk in human form

Trying to stop cars with their bare hands

And seeing them get run down's becoming the new norm

Leaving smart people to wonder, what exactly were their plans

And they listen to reputed liars, which is what extremists tend to be

Falling on their swords, while their leaders sit home enjoying the best

These masses, sadly, never get to know what they truly could be

Because they've thrown in with a bunch only capable of pounding their chest

Don't be the masses, and think for thyself

Question things and get educated, you fools

For when you end up in prison, it will feel like your leaders put you on the shelf

And, sadly, it'll take that before you realize you were another's tools
