The manifestation of love and revenge

In chambers of the heart, a war ignites,

Love's embers glowing, fueled by stolen nights.

A bond so fierce, a trust so deep,

Shattered by betrayal, where promises sleep.

Love's melody, once sweet and pure,

Twisted by deceit, a bitter lure.

Rage takes the stage, where passion played,

Revenge's cold hand, a vow unmade.

Memories dance, a haunting scene,

Whispers of laughter, what might have been.

But shadows lengthen, trust in decline,

Love's fragile bloom, now laced with brine.

Justice they seek, a fire in the soul,

To mend the wounds, to make them whole.

Yet vengeance's path, a thorny maze,

Can love's lost light return through vengeful haze?

Forgiveness whispers, a fragile plea,

Can hearts rebuild, or forever be

Bound by the ghosts of what used to be?

Love's embers flicker, a chance to see

A different path, where healing thrives,

Where broken pieces learn to survive.

Perhaps forgiveness, a tender bloom,

Can rise from ashes, dispelling gloom.

But vengeance's hunger, a gnawing beast,

May leave no solace, no promised peace.

Love's fragile tendrils, forever frayed,

In the aftermath of a love betrayed.

So the battle rages, within the mind,

Love's gentle hand, or vengeance to find?

A choice to make, a path to pave,

Will love endure, or find a grave?
