The Man Who Waged the Sky
One man with a dark heart

The Man Who Waged the Sky
The city burned,
smoke curled into frozen air,
children slept in hallways,
their dreams heavy with fear.
He sat behind maps,
eyes sharp as knives,
watching borders bleed,
counting lives like coins.
Tanks rolled over rivers,
cries followed iron wheels,
the world whispered warnings,
he refused to hear.
Houses collapsed,
streets were empty,
silence screamed louder
than any gunfire.
Families clutched photographs,
faces of those lost,
voices rose
through shattered windows.
Orders came from his lips,
cold, precise,
the sky itself trembled
at his shadow.
Men marched into nothing,
women carried burdens
too heavy for arms alone,
time itself fractured.
He watched it all,
smiling at maps,
as if pain were a puzzle,
he held every piece.
The sun rose over ruins,
blood ran like rivers,
still he plotted,
never looking behind.
Somewhere a child whispered,
hope flickered in tiny hands,
the world waited
for the hour he might fall.
