The Man Who Hides From Sound
A maddening sound, a sound so loud.

The sound! The sound! I hear it now!
Ever screaming! Terrible ringing!
The whispers I hear, never ceasing!
In frequency which unnerves!
Ferocious speakers, the hurts I feel!
My ears, the weaker!
The echoes, not real!
Alone I stay! Away! Away!
Bid me farewell! My ears, they quake!
Unshakable sound! Grinding of teeth!
Water fails to drown! I ask for sleep!
Yet death they frown.
