She was stronger than I was
First sign of abuse
She left
Took her daughter
Used all her change
And had nothing left
She shed tears because of her situation
She went to social services for help
And was accepted to a shelter
This shelter is for abused women
For her daughter she searched for work
As she thought she could do it
When she became a maid
It became difficult
Tired day and night
She never gave up
Go watch the maid on Netflix.
It is the best tv show I have seen that I could relate to 7 years ago. I cried in some parts and you might too. It’s about a women that struggles to get out of an abusive relationship and her daughter is affected by it the most. The ex is not well but he does try.
There is another women she meets and had been through worse. All I can say is go watch it you won’t regret it.
