It doesn’t stop for your Feelings.

It doesn’t stop for you to Smell It.

It craves dollars, pounds, Euros,

Cryptocurrencies and birkins.

I was doing you a favour,

did you even realise that?

The Machine knows no favours.

The Machine doesn’t really want

your opinions; it wants to track

your spending habits.

The Machine will not need to stop

for Anybody, it only thrives on

all our Greed and Envy and Lust

and that embarassingly human

need for Dopamine.
