THANKFUL TO THE TRINITY OF LUMINOUS LOVE
Three people taught me what love really means because of their unconditional love that they gave me: my mother, my grandmother, and my best friend.
1. MOTHER OF LUMINOUS LOVE
My mother escaped from North Korea and valued friendship and had so many friends. Even now, I can still hear her laughter, see her smiling and feel her true love of life.
2. NANA OF LUMINOUS LOVE
My grandmother, who also escaped North Korea, was the same, for she loved to make me laugh, and no one could laugh as much as her, for she would be on the floor laughing and hitting the floor with her hands.
3. LINDA OF LUMINOUS LOVE
My best friend, Linda, who when I was struggling at my job, came forward and because she knew I was facing racism and being mistreated, so she befriended me and while I was going through cancer, she was there for me.
