The Little Seed

Once a little seed was planted in the ground,

Nestled snugly, waiting to be found.

The sun shone down and the rain fell too,

And soon that little seed began to sprout anew.

A tiny stem emerged, stretching toward the sky,

And soon a little leaf began to unfold and dry.

As time went by, that little plant grew tall,

And soon it was the biggest of them all.

But the little seed remembered where it came from,

And though it was now big, it still sang a quiet hum.

For it knew that without the sun and the rain,

It never would have grown to be so grand and plain.

So remember, little one, as you grow and thrive,

To always give thanks and to stay alive.

For like that little seed, you too have a start,

And with love and care, you'll grow into a work of art.
