The Little Seed

Once there was a little seed,

Lying quietly in the ground.

It dreamed of growing big and strong,

And of spreading joy all around.

The sun shone down upon the soil,

And the rain began to fall.

The little seed drank in the water,

And it grew up straight and tall.

Its leaves unfurled, and its stem grew long,

As it reached up to the sky.

The little seed was becoming,

A plant, that could not be denied.

But the little seed did not stop there,

For it had much more to do.

It grew into a beautiful flower,

And its petals were shades of blue.

The bees buzzed by, and the wind blew strong,

As the flower swayed in the breeze.

The little seed had become something great,

A wonder for all to see.

So when you feel small, and wonder if,

You can ever become something grand.

Just remember the little seed,

And how it grew into something so grand.
