The line we once drew around the world.

When the mirror looks back at you

Silence is tricky to comprehend

It starts as a bone chilling cold

Covering your vast emotions

With a serene dagger-like cloak

That you wore when you last spoke

Of tragedies occurring on your watch

Like a parasite

It burrows beneath your skin

Creating a wasteland of greed,

You can never come back to

Horizons of wilted flowers, once blossomed

Juxtaposed with rumored homecomings

Echoed with every silent scream,

Divulging layers and pedals that clung to the hollowed grey sky

Faintly showering you with unexpected calmness

But when that silence returns

Like a familiar hand understanding familiar structure

It will be a truly beautiful moment

Warming the air

Grasping you with an eternal song

That sings of a ballad

With the tenderness of the one it was written by
