The Light Beyond The Screens

Our entire world is a distraction from who we are and who we're meant to be

Down we all fall

Into a world that seems much too small

Sensing the life beyond the glass before our eyes

Trying to not allow these screens to send us to our demise

Running along a field is what my feet long to feel

Achieving this simple act just doesn't feel real when I'm

Crying for a break from the jealousy and pain

Trying to see my inner light but I just can't look away

I only see comparison to the people on the screens

Only wish I would notice my own individuality, and

Never again be distracted by comparison and longing
